Dr Michael Truong attained his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Western Australia and undertook pre-vocational training at Royal Perth Hospital. His vocational training was completed within the South Australian Radiology Training network and he was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2022.
Michael has presented research in Gastroenterology imaging and Stroke imaging at the RANZCR national conference and local branch meeting. In addition, he has peer reviewed publications in international journals, including the Journal of Neuroradiology.
Michael is a permanent staff specialist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. He has special interests in Musculoskeletal imaging, Body imaging, and Ultrasound and CT guided procedures. He is an active member of the Australasian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group (AMSIG).
In his spare time, Michael enjoys travel, tennis and spending time with his wife Kim and beagle Gus.
