Dr Tan graduated with Honours from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS, Honours) in 1997.
Dr Tan then went on to train in Gastroenterology and Nuclear Medicine (including PET) and was made a Member of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Physicians in Nuclear Medicine (ANZAPNM) in 2004. Dr Tan was further awarded a Fellowship to the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2004.
Dr Tan is a Fellow of the Australasian Association of Nuclear Medicine Specialists (FAANMS), and a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine.
Joining Jones Radiology in 2006, Dr Tan currently works two days per week in our clinics as well as holding the positions of Staff Specialist in Nuclear Medicine at Lyell McEwin and The Queen Elizabeth Hospitals. Dr Tan is also a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Tennyson Day Hospital and Calvary Adelaide Hospital.
In his spare time, Dr Tan enjoys long drives, tennis and reading.
