As a 100% South Australian doctor-owned practice, Jones Radiology is proud to stand alongside this mission. For every brain tumour MRI performed at during May, Jones will donate $10 directly to the NRF. It is a small gesture in the context of the NRF’s vital research, but it is a meaningful one – and it reflects our belief that imaging practices have a role to play in funding the science that underpins the care we provide.

The Role of Neuro Imaging in Brain Tumour Care

When a brain tumour is suspected, imaging is the first – and often most decisive – step. Accurate, high-quality neuro imaging determines tumour location, size, type, and involvement of surrounding structures. It guides surgical planning, monitors treatment response, and supports long-term follow-up care.

At Jones Radiology, our Neuro Imaging Specialists work across advanced MRI, CT and PET – providing the detailed diagnostic insight that neurosurgeons, oncologists, and multidisciplinary teams rely on to make complex decisions for the best patient care.

Our Neuro Imaging Specialists operate at the forefront of advanced radiology and nuclear medicine, supporting the diagnosis and management of a broad range of neurological conditions – from tumours to complex neurological and degenerative conditions.

They also play an active role in multidisciplinary meetings (MDMs). Working directly alongside neurosurgeons, oncologists, radiation oncologists, and other specialists – they contribute directly to collaborative treatment planning and ensuring imaging findings are interpreted in the full clinical context of each patient’s care.

Meet our Neuro Imaging Specialists:

Together, this team brings deep expertise across both radiology and nuclear medicine – a combination that is particularly powerful in neuro-oncology, where PET imaging increasingly complements structural MRI to detect tumour recurrence, assess treatment response, and distinguish tumour from treatment-related changes.

This Grey May, Jones Radiology is proud to support the NRF and recognise the incredible contribution that neuro imaging makes to the brain tumour journey – from first suspicion through to surgery, treatment, and beyond. Because when it comes to brain tumour care, a clearer picture can change everything.
