Dr Lisa Gower graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) from The Flinders University of South Australia with an elective in The Department of Ultrasound at The University of California, San Diego Medical Centre in 1990.
Following an Internship at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in 1991, Dr Gower was a Radiology Registrar in South Australia from 1992 until 1996. In 1996 Dr Gower completed a Fellowship in Women’s and Paediatric Imaging at The Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Dr Gower was awarded a Fellowship of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 1997.
Dr Gower has consulted in private practice radiology since 1997, predominantly in South Australia, consulting in Perth, Western Australia in 2006.
Dr Gower was formerly a Senior Visiting Medical Specialist at The Women’s and Children’s Hospital from 2007-2008 and at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in 1997 and from 2001 to 2003.
Dr Gower is a general radiologist with a special interest in fertility, antenatal diagnosis, obstetrics, gynaecology and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
For relaxation Dr Gower enjoys snow skiing, scuba diving, photography and cooking.
