Dr Greeff graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Pretoria in 2008. Following two years of General Surgery training, he completed five years of specialist radiology training in South Africa, earning his Fellowship of the College of Radiologists of South Africa (FC Rad Diag) in 2018 and a Master of Medicine (Diagnostic Radiology) in 2019. Dr Greeff relocated to Australia in 2020, where he completed an MRI Fellowship and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 2022.

With particular expertise in cross-sectional imaging and image-guided interventions, Dr Greeff is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred diagnostic care. Prior to joining Jones Radiology, he worked across a number of private radiology practices in Victoria. He will commence an Interventional Radiology Fellowship in 2027, after which he will join the Jones Radiology Interventional Radiology team.

When welcoming Wim to the team, we asked him a few questions to get to know him better.

If you weren’t a Radiologist, what would you be?

“A surgeon.”

If you could have dinner with anyone (past or present), who would it be and why?

“I’d love to sit down with the original founding partners of Jones Radiology. I’d be fascinated to hear about their vision for the future and see how it compares to where Jones Radiology is today.”

Why did you choose Jones?

Outside of work, Dr Greeff enjoys travelling and spending time with his active family.
