Dr Zadow graduated from the University of Adelaide with Honours in 1993 with his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
He was ranked third in his year of Medicine and received many academic awards, including the Frank S. Hone Memorial Prize for the highest mark in the subject of Medicine and the Sir Trent Champion de Crespigny Memorial Prize for the highest mark in the clinical section of the subject of Medicine. Dr Zadow also made the Dean’s List of Students Achieving Academic Excellence.
After graduation, Dr Zadow completed his specialist radiology training and was awarded a Fellowship to the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) in 2000.
Dr Zadow completed an MRI Fellowship in the United Kingdom which included time at St. Thomas’ Hospital and King’s College Hospital in London.
Dr Zadow specialises in all facets of MSK and Sports Medicine Imaging, with particular interest in MRI, Ultrasound and Ultrasound Guided Therapies and is currently Senior Staff Specialist in MRI at Flinders Medical Centre.
A reviewer of multiple MSK articles for the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology, Dr Zadow also enjoys his teaching role at Flinders Medical Centre. He has also been involved in the RANZCR and SA Orthopaedic training programs.
Dr Zadow has presented at many conferences and has had multiple articles published in leading journals.
In his spare time, Dr Zadow enjoys spending time with his wife and their three boys. He also enjoys sport, gardening and travel.
