Dr Smith joined Jones Radiology in 2024 after completing a Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR).
He holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from James Cook University (2015), as well as a Graduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy (2017). Radiology training was undertaken in South Australia, with significant time spent at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. He also completed rotations at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Lyell McEwin Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre, and the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
In the final year of training, Dr Smith completed a 12-month subspecialty rotation in breast imaging at the Royal Adelaide Hospital Women’s Health Clinic. He has special interest in breast imaging including mammography, ultrasound, breast MRI, and interventional breast procedures and has a fellowship position at BreastScreen SA.
Outside of work, Dr Smith enjoys exploring food and wine, travelling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
