We were delighted to welcome the Hon. Blair Boyer MP, Minister for Health and Wellbeing, to Jones Radiology - Calvary Adelaide Hospital.
On Monday 19 October, Managing Partner Dr Mitchell Raeside, Dr Nicholas Bajic, Aaron Hatcher and our modality leaders guided the Minister through our clinic and the integrated radiology suite in the Emergency Department – showcasing the advanced imaging technology, workforce innovation and integrated care pathways that underpin our services.
The tour included our digital X-ray and multi-detector CT services, which deliver high-quality imaging with low-dose protocols. In our MRI suite, we are one of the first Australian sites deploying Siemens Deep Resolve AI reconstruction, which can reduce scan times by up to 50 per cent and is particularly helpful for paediatric, elderly and anxious patients. The visit also covered our specialist musculoskeletal ultrasound and interventional services, and virtual MRI Cockpit, which extends our reach to regional clinics.
The Minister toured the Emergency Department, where our purpose-built radiology suite is supported by dedicated 24/7 on-site staffing that reduces time-to-diagnosis for stroke, trauma and sepsis pathways.
Jones Radiology was proud to showcase its access to world-class diagnostic imaging, delivering better health outcomes to both private and public patients.
We appreciate the Minister taking the time to meet our team and see first-hand our work supporting South Australians.
