Dr Wan Yin Lim Lim graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) with the Dean’s Commendation at the University of Otago in Dunedin.
Dr Lim went on to complete the South Australian Radiology Training Program between 2012 and 2016.
In January 2017, Dr Lim was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) and joined Jones Radiology soon after.
From June 2017 to August 2018, Dr Lim completed subspecialty full-time fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London.
During this time, Dr Lim also took up honorary fellow positions in the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital for their bone and soft tissue tumour expertise as well as the Royal Brompton Hospital for expertise in imaging of interstitial lung diseases. At the completion of the Musculoskeletal fellowship, she undertook six weeks of further training with the Neurosciences/ Neuroradiology department at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for paediatric neuroimaging.
Dr Lim has subspecialty expertise and interest in all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging. Given her training background, her interests also extend to chest and neuroimaging which she continues to pursue in the form of various multidisciplinary meetings.
Dr Lim has had peer-reviewed publications in international journals including Skeletal Radiology and European Journal of Paediatric Neuroradiology.
Dr Lim currently holds a permanent staff specialist position at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
She is an active member of Australian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group (AMSIG), European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR) and American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS).
