Dr Phiji George graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from University of Madras, India, in 1991
Dr George then practiced as a GP in India for 16 years before starting his radiology training in 2007.
Dr George worked as a consultant Radiologist in India in 2011 and 2012 after completing post-graduate studies in 2009 and 2011. He arrived in Australia in 2013 as an overseas trained Radiologist where he worked at the Flinders Medical Centre, South Australia, as a Registrar under supervised practice. During this time, Dr George was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 2015.
Dr George’s special interests include musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound guided interventions.
Dr George is married with two children. In his spare time he enjoys travelling, photography and playing tennis.
