As a 100% doctor-owned South Australian practice, we are proud to give back to local initiatives that strengthen our community.

We are proud to support local sporting clubs, community organisations, arts initiatives, and health and education programs across South Australia. The Jones Community in Focus Grants Program provides a formal pathway for organisations to apply for sponsorship or in-kind support. We consider applications from groups that are aligned with our values, located near one of our clinics, and able to offer a genuine benefit to Jones Radiology and the communities we serve.

How does It work?

The Community in Focus Grants Program runs in two rounds each year. Applications are assessed against published criteria by the Jones Radiology partnerships team, and every applicant is notified of the outcome in writing.

Apply on behalf of your organisation via the below entry form. Please read the eligibility criteria before you apply. If you have a question about the program, email sponsorship@jonesradiology.com.au.

  • Be able to execute the intended purpose of the funding within 12 months of the signed agreement

What we can fund

We fund activities, programs, events and equipment that deliver a clear benefit to the South Australian community. Examples include:

  • Community events that bring people together and are open to the wider public
  • Arts and cultural initiatives that reflect and celebrate local communities
  • Education programs, particularly those supporting health literacy, STEM or career pathways in healthcare
  • Health and wellbeing programs, including mental health support, preventative health, and programs supporting older people or people living with disability
  • Clinical and research foundations investigating the betterment of patient health outcomes

What we cannot fund

  • Individuals, commercial businesses or government entities, other than public schools and preschools
  • Activities delivered outside South Australia
  • Activities already completed, or costs already incurred, before the outcome is announced
  • Political parties or campaigns, or religious activities where the primary purpose is worship or recruitment
  • Activities that exclude, denigrate or discriminate against members of the community
  • Activities that could reasonably be considered unsafe or harmful to people, animals or the environment
  • Organisations unwilling to provide sufficient detail about the proposed activity

How applications are assessed

Applications are reviewed by the Jones Radiology partnerships team against the following criteria:

  • Community benefit. Who benefits from the activity, and what difference will it make?
  • Reach. How many people will the activity reach, and how broadly is it supported locally?
  • Alignment. How well does the activity reflect the Jones Radiology values and our focus on health and wellbeing?
  • Location. Where will the activity take place in relation to our clinics, and where do the beneficiaries live?
  • Deliverability. Is the activity realistic, adequately planned and able to be completed within 12 months?
  • Recognition. How will your organisation acknowledge Jones Radiology’s support?

Funding decisions are made at the discretion of Jones Radiology, and all decisions are final.

How much you can apply for

Grants are offered at three levels:

  • $1,000
  • $2,000
  • $5,000

You may apply for one amount only, and one application per organisation per round. Funding is competitive, and meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee a grant.
