Join us as A/Prof Matt McDonald and Dr Steve Chryssidis discuss strategies for managing back pain in general practice and when to refer.

Learning Outcomes
1. Identify the clinical settings where imaging is appropriate for a patient with lower back pain.
2. Determine the clinically relevant findings in imaging reports of the lumbar spine.
3. Appropriately order radiologically guided procedures based on clinical setting and imaging findings.
4. Outline the indications for surgery; learn about the common surgical procedures performed in the lumbar spine.

Prostate Cancer

Format: 7x 10 minute presentations plus interactive Multi-Disciplinary Meeting with one patient to be discussed.

Learning Outcomes:
1. Define the changing diagnosis of prostate cancer with the use of transperineal prostate biopsy.
2. Assess new methods of treating localised prostate cancer with radiation.
3. Discuss the role of medical imaging in prostate cancer management.
