Dr Raeside will be taking over from Dr Tim Wells who has held the position for the past two years.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr Wells for his tireless work over the past two years. His calm approach and steady leadership has helped our practice navigate through some real highs and lows over the last 24 months, and positioned us well for the future. So thanks to Tim and his family for their efforts, sacrifice and commitment.
Mitchell joined as Partner in 2018 and, in addition to other responsibilities, is Clinic Director of our Gawler Health Service clinic.
On stepping into his new role Dr Raeside announced his commitment to, “lead with integrity, always act in the best interests of our patients, referrers and of the Practice, and to watch out for and look after our doctors and all the staff at Jones.”
Mitchell’s career is riddled with highlights including being awarded Honours in Medical School, and the C.E. Eddy Prize for most outstanding candidate in the FRANZCR Radiology Part 1 examination series. Shortly after joining Jones Radiology in 2015 he spent 12 of his first 24 months with the Practice in New York at the world renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre where he completed fellowship training in oncologic imaging and body MRI. In addition to providing the foundation for his subspecialist practice in cancer and body imaging, navigating New York City with a young family was an unforgettable life experience.
Dr Raeside is not only a Radiologist – he is also a father of four, an accomplished piano player and loves chocolate!
Not only one of the smartest people you will ever meet but the nicest too, we feel privileged to have him lead our Practice forward.
