After graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from University of Adelaide in 1981, Dr Newbold worked in Canberra, where he began his specialist radiology training.
Dr Newbold returned to Adelaide in 1984 and continued his training at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. In 1988, Dr Newbold was awarded a Fellowship to the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR).
Dr Newbold worked as Staff Specialist at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital prior to joining Jones Radiology in 1989.
Dr Newbold is Clinic Director of the Jones Radiology clinic in Wallaroo.
He specialises in Interventional Radiology, Body Imaging, Musculoskeletal (MSK) Imaging and MRI.
