Graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from University of Adelaide in 1984, Dr Morphett went on to complete specialist radiology training.
He was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 1990. In that same year, Dr Morphett relocated to the UK and completed a Fellowship in interventional and general radiology at Hammersmith Hospital, London.
Dr Morphett has worked at Jones Radiology since 1991 and specialises in Musculoskeletal (MSK) and Thoracic Imaging. Dr Morphett is the Clinic Director of the Jones Radiology clinic at Burnside Hospital and regularly works at this clinic.
Dr Morphett has also held the position of Senior Visiting Medical Officer at Flinders Medical Centre since 1991.
