Dr Stella Jo obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree at Flinders University. Following this, she undertook specialist radiology training in Western Australia and was admitted into the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2018.

She returned to South Australia to undertake specialist nuclear medicine training in 2021 and was admitted into the Australasian Association of Nuclear Medicine Specialists in 2022.

Dr Jo also holds a public appointment as a Nuclear Medicine Specialist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
