Dr Jayakaran graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) at the University of Glasgow, Scotland.
Following this Dr Jayakaran went on to complete the South Australian Radiology Training Program, mainly at the Royal Adelaide Hospital with rotations through Flinders Hospital, Women’s & Children’s Hospital and Royal Darwin Hospital.
In 2021, Dr Jayakaran was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) and joined Jones Radiology soon after.
She has a broad interest across different areas of radiology, including MRI, CT, Ultrasound and X-ray.
Deepa is also a keen amateur gardener who loves spending time with family and friends.
