October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we went behind the scenes with Dr Sinead Hanley, Breast Specialist Radiologist, to talk about the vital role breast ultrasound plays, especially in younger women.

Jones Radiology has dedicated breast imaging services in five metropolitan locations and several regional clinics. These clinics offer the latest in diagnostic breast imaging technology and have dedicated breast teams, including a breast radiologist, mammographers, and breast sonographers.

McGrath Community Sponsorship Program

During the month of October, for every mammogram performed, Jones Radiology donates $10 to the McGrath Foundation.

McGrath Breast Care Nurses support people with breast cancer and their families from the time of diagnosis and throughout their treatment. They listen, guide and support these people at a vulnerable and overwhelming time in their lives.

The McGrath Foundation raises money to place specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses wherever they’re needed, and increase breast health awareness.
