Sandy graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from University of Adelaide and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR). He worked as a Specialist Registrar in Edinburgh, Scotland from 1997 to 1998 before completing a Fellowship in Neuroradiology at the University of California, San Francisco, USA between 1998 and 2000. Clinical Associate Professor, University of Adelaide.
Sandy’s current positions are:
- Clinic Director at St Andrew’s Hospital Radiology Clinic
- Head of Neuroradiology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital
- RANZCR Lead Examiner in Neuroradiology
Radiology Chair of the Royal Adelaide Hospital Neuro-oncology, Neurology, Skull Base, Oculoplastic surgery and Epilepsy MDTs. Research contributions include the imaging of cerebrovascular and neurodegenerative disease as well as imaging of brain tumours, inflammatory myopathies and ENT/orbit.
